Another patch coming to MW2

Most of you will be aware that for some reason, there seem to be a lot of bugs and errors in our Game of the Year, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Most of these bugs are fixed with a simple patch however after a while even more bugs crop up and yet another patch is required to be downloaded. Posting on his own blog, Infinity Ward guru Robert Bowling has given details of the latest patch which is to hit our consoles after testing.

– Care Package, Emergency Airdrop, and Sentry Gun marker grenades sprint speed normalized.

– Sentry Guns: Improved placement detection, preventing cases of Sentry Guns inside geometry.

– Model 1887: Bling using Akimbo and FMJ combination now has same range and damage as non-Bling Model 1887s.

– Improved player collision removing cases of getting into geometry and ‘elevators’.

– Fix to prevent various XP hacks, including the prevention of obtaining negative XP.

There has been no date as to when we can expect this update but I’m sure it will be over the next few days. Or at least I hope so.
