Sony has told Eurogamer.net that the PS3 title Afrika will not be released in Europe. They did however confirm the game will be released in Japan.

Developed by Rhino Studios, a trailer for the game was first shown at E3 in 2006 and then again at the Tokyo Games Show last year, however since then the game has slipped away with no further news on the title until now.

Afrika is a safari game which is possibly similar to the PC series ‘Zoo Tycoon’, however no-one is really quite sure what the game is about. A placeholder website has appeared though in Japan recently with the words “Coming Soon…” so we can presume information on the title will appear very soon.
