3D PS3 games to arrive in Japan next week

The first of the updates for 3D PS3 titles will arrive next week in Japan.

Patches will be released for Super Stardust HD, Wipeout HD and PAIN on 10th June. The updates will be free except form PAIN 3D which will cost 300 yen to buy.

We’ve still yet to gain any information on European releases or pricing.

The most recent firmware update of 3.30 in April updated the console to handle 3D functions and there is no new firmware due in the near future.

Sony’s first Bravia 3D TVs are due to launch this month in Japan and the company is offering four games free for those buying the tellies to try and bolster sales.
