In a recent online interview, Scott Henson director of Microsoft’s Game Technology Group, commented that the Xbox 360 software could see a wave of improvements in the coming months.

Although not much in depth details were provided, he claimed that features such as improving the music player and enabling users to download from the Marketplace in the background could be on it’s way; aswell as word on upgrades for streaming various media from PC’s and not just Windows Media Centre enabled PC’s  

Scott Henson also commented on HD-DVD confirming that no plans are in place to release games on the new format, but the add on drive will be for movies only.
