360 Doing Better Than Xbox in Early Months

Sales figures released by the NPD Group have shown that the Xbox 360 sold more units in it’s first 13 months on release than the original Xbox did in the USA.

In the past 13 months, 3.79 million Xbox 360 units have been sold compared to 3.57 million Xbox units between November 2001 and December 2002. That’s an increase of 6%. And it doesn’t look like sales will be letting up anytime soon. During the month of November, 500,000 Xbox 360 units were sold in the US alone.
