Microsoft have recently released a press release with details of the success of the Xbox 360’s Marketplace. The press release claims that over twenty four million downloads have taken place on the service since it launched with the console late last year.
Last week alone saw over 1.5 million Xbox Live users downloading a massive 5 million marketplace items due to the E3 trade show in LA, the Halo 3 trailer no doubt being the most hottest item to get.
Traffic to Xbox.com was also on the up last week, resulting in a sucessfull E3 for Microsoft, and an overall popular service!
So with 24 million downloads under the marketplace belt, get ready to download more, especially when the new dashboard update arrives.
