1 vs. 100 dated for some of Europe

Microsoft and Xbox have today revealed that 1 vs. 100 will finally be crossing the Pacific Ocean and arriving on Xbox 360 consoles in the UK, Republic of Ireland, France and Germany.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with 1 vs. 100, it is an interactive game show played over Xbox Live in arranged sessions, where players are chosen as either “the one” “the mob” or “the crowd” and are asked constantly updated general knowledge questions. Players will also be able to play in ‘Extended play’ mode throughout the week, allowing players to play for fun, to gain experience and to gain entries into a sweepstake in order to win prizes. And they are not just any old prizes.

Microsoft are giving away a Fiat 500, a Samsung Q210 laptop, a Casio EX-FH20 camera, a Samsung 46” Crystal TV and Home Cinema System, Holiday Vouchers, Xbox Live Arcade titles and Microsoft Points from week two onwards. No prizes are on offer in week one though players will gain entry to the sweepstakes.

But when is it coming I hear you ask? Well, as of Friday 10th July in the UK and Sunday 12th July in France and Germany, the beta will be available for free to Xbox Live Gold members. It is expected that Xbox Live Silver members will have to pay to use the services.
