What Game Would You Bring Back From The Online Graveyard? I have been thinking about this question for a little while now, mainly reminiscing about games I used to play and all the laughs I had while online even as far back as the original Xbox. Let’s be honest games like Halo 2 and Battlefield 2: Modern Combat are dead online, or at least riddled with glitchers. What if you could turn the clocks back or rejuvenate a game of old to it’s former online glory, what game would you choose?

My first game that I considered was the sole reason I got Xbox LIVE, Halo 2. I had obviously played Halo: Combat Evolved through and through with friends and on my own going through the campaign time and again, but never got the chance to take it online. Halo 2 on the other hand gave me that reason to finally connect up my Xbox to the world of LIVE and start playing with people from all around the globe.

I had some great times on Halo 2, had played it for so long that I had lost track of time and before I knew it, work was but an hour away. Then there were the nights when nothing seemed to be going my way, my vent was simply throwing my controller into the air, a little easier now considering I have a wireless controller. Not forgetting those days when I found myself in a clan match facing off against one of the top 50 teams in the world and more often then not being torn apart, quite literally.

Then there was my first ever Xbox 360 game, Project Gotham Racing 3. What a game that was, PGR4 didn’t even come close to matching the pure enjoyment I had when racing around the various tracks online. My first Xbox LIVE game I purchased and what’s more I played it for countless hours in those first few months, collating a variety of cars for my PGR garage.

If I actually sit down and think about it though I think the one game that I would love to see become active over LIVE again is without doubt Battlefield 2: Modern Combat. It was just amazing to play online with friends or even going lone wolf. That initial sprint to the helicopter, first come first served as it was. Placing an anti-vehicle mine at the end of a ramp and watching on as an opposition buggy flew straight into it. Going on a rampage with the tank and being so effective that you finish the game with not a single death. It was simply amazing to play and I cannot wait to see if Battlefield 3 can match that same experience.

So the question is, what game would you bring back?
