Halo 3’s not so out of this world according to the latest figures released from Activision as their smash-hit and adrenaline fuelled title – Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare has been confirmed as the best selling title of 2007.
Selling over Seven Million Units Worldwide and recently topping Halo 3 as the most played Xbox Live Title ever, no wonder Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is Number 1!
Will Kassoy, senior vice president, global brand management, Activision Publishing commented;
“We’re very excited about this achievement especially given so many competitive titles this year. Consumer and critics agree that Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is one of the best games ever created and further establishes Call of Duty as one of the premier brands in the industry. This ground-breaking game and franchise continue to establish new standards by which all other action games will be judged.”
We here at ConsoleMonster cannot wait until Call of Duty 5 is released later this year. What would you like to see in the next instalments? Let us know via the comment box below!
