Can you hear the desperate cries around the world? The new Driver title has officially been pushed back until 2011 due to the ‘competitive market at Christmas’. In a statement Ubisoft had the following to say;
“Due to the competitive market at Christmas, Driver – previously scheduled for release during the third quarter – will now launch during the fourth quarter of the fiscal year.”
I’m sure many of you Driver fans are currently cursing at the screen. I suppose secretly we already knew it was likely to happen, especially if the release of Gran Turismo this year goes to plan.
