Modern Warfare May Have Quick Scoping

1. Quick Scope:

A person who quick scopes will use a sniper rifle, but instead of aiming down the scope like sniper riffles were made for, they exploit a feature and shoot when the cross hairs meet, resulting in a one hit kill, despite the fact a majority of the time the cross hairs miss the target. Then when somebody uses a sniper riffle for what it was meant for and look down the scope, the people who quick scope yell at the player who looked down the scope and call them a “hard scoper”

I would like to see those quick scope kids go to Afghanistan and try quick scoping.

Quick scoping is one of those heated debates that will always be present in the world of First Person Shooters. Today Activision have added even more fuel to the fire by revealing that Modern Warfare 3 currently allows for players to quick scope.

This is an intruiging move especially since Activision decided to limit the effectiveness of Quick Scoping in Call of Duty: Black Ops.

“Currently, you can still quick scope in Modern Warfare 3,” he said. “Keep in mind though, multiplayer is always changing at this stage (new perks, new balancing, new everything all the time based on feedback), however our philosophy on that hasn’t changed since MW2.”

Many gamers will hope for Activision to eliminate Quick Scope, while others will pray for it’s inclusion. For now Activision is sticking to Quick Scoping, but I doubt they’ll keep it in come the game’s release at the end of the year.
