Microsoft have today started banning user accounts that have done, or look to do one of the following actions:
- Play a Flashed Xbox
- Unfairly gain an increased Gamerscore
- Modded avatars
- Infections on COD4
- Infections On World at war
- Infections on MW2
As well as the above, users are also being banned for playing Call of Duty games for money and anyone who is running ‘phishing’ scams will soon find their messages read and their accounts deleted by Microsoft.
Whether or not it is right for Microsoft to read our private messages this is still a step in the right direction as Xbox LIVE attempts to halt cheaters and scammers.
