Battlefield 1943 receives official release date

After rumours and reports of a Battlefield 1943 release date, the game’s official Twitter has revealed the release date for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the title. Xbox 360 owners will be able to download Battlefield 1943 for 1200 Microsoft Points on Wednesday 8th July, whilst PlayStation 3 owners can download the game for about £10.00 on Thursday 9th July.
