PDP Afterglow Wireless Controller Impressions

I honestly really dislike the Nintendo Switch JoyCons. While I don’t mind using them when the game itself is designed around motion controls, I honestly find myself not even wanting to play Switch games that are more traditionally controlled. I feel the JoyCons just aren’t meant to be used like that.

Luckily, the customizable RGB lighting is extremely vibrant and well-handled, allowing the user to change colors, and even display modes such as fade or strobe, if you’re into that sort of thing. Me, I’m more of a gentle glow sort of guy. But whatever you may like, you can achieve the effect with the Afterglow controller.

Overall the PDP Afterglow Wireless Controller is a very well-made, and very stylish choice for use with your Nintendo Switch. While it still lacks the rumble, it more than makes up for it with its disco of vibrancy. The biggest downside would have to be the lack of any real grip to the controller. If it had some sort of added texture, the controller would feel nearly flawless in my opinion.
