There’s been a lot of Xbox Live Arcade related news around at the moment, so here’s a recap.

Boom Boom Rocket
Price Announced

EA and Bizarre Creations have announced that forthcoming Xbox Live Arcade title, Boom Boom Rocket will cost just 800 MS Points. While this is double Bizarre’s previous XBLA title, Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved, the British developer feels the greater amount of content in BBR is worthy of more points. Bizarre also point out, in their words, “It’s certainly not the sort of “over the top” pricing you’ve seen with other XBLA titles recently.”

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade
TMNT Confirmed for the Live Arcade

Ubisoft have confirmed that it will be bringing Konami’s 1989 Arcade title Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to the Xbox Live Arcade as was rumoured a few days back. The game will be out in March (and with the TMNT movie out March 23rd, March 21st or March 28th seem likely) and will feature 2-player and 4-player co-op as well as the usual Achievements and Leaderboards. As with all retro games on the Live Arcade, TMNT Arcade will cost 400 Points.

Every Extend Extra Extreme
Every Extend Extra Extreme Coming to the Live Arcade

Those of you hoping Q Entertainment’s new XBLA title would be Rez will no doubt be disappointed to hear…it isn’t. Instead, Tetsuya Mizuguchi will be bringing a new version of PSP title Every Extend Extra to the Live Arcade. Every Extend Extra Extreme (or E4 for short) will be basically like the PSP title with some added new features. Chief amonst these is the ability to play the game, with your own music (something that gamers hoped would happen with Guitar Hero II). No news on price or release, but considering Q’s last XBLA title, Lumines Live!, was 1,200 Points, don’t be surprised if this is too.
