UPDATE: Lost Planet Demo Slips Out Early

The Multiplayer demo for the highly anticipated Lost Planet is now available to download from the Marketplace, despite Capcom stating it would not be available until November 23rd two weeks ago. The demo is said to only be currently available to UK Xbox Live users, so if you happen to have a US Xbox Live account, please feel free to confirm/deny this.

The demo itself is 233.32MB and can be found in the “Featured Downloads” section of the Xbox Live Marketplace. It contains the “Pirate Fortress” map along with four multiplayer game modes, Elimination, Team Elimination, Post Grab and Fugitive.

Update 2: It appears the original demo was a special gift for people who pre-ordered the game. A new demo, 174MB in size, is now available for all Xbox Live Gold members, in all regions. The demo will become available to Xbox Live Silver members on November 30th.

Thanks to lenseleven and carocat on the forums for the heads up.
