Quantum Break still going ahead, despite studio closure

Quantum Break has not been impacted by Microsoft’s plans to shut down Xbox Entertainment Studios.

Remedy Entertainment’s live action TV show/video game hybrid is still on track, the game’s developer told Polygon.

According to a Microsoft spokesperson: “Quantum Break will be released next year and the game and show both remain on track.

“The news of Xbox Entertainment Studios has not impacted our progress and we’re excited toshare more details ofQuantum Breakat Gamescom in August.”

Quantum Break was originally unveiled in a teaser trailer during the Xbox One reveal event in May 2013.
