Quake IV to be re-released

Having first released in 2005 as a launch title for the Xbox 360, Quake IVis set to be re-released.

Bethesda confirmed the news, which will see the game become available at the price of a budget title later this year.

Bethesda said: “If you didn’t pick up an Xbox 360 at launch, it’s possible you might have missed out on one of the system’s best launch titles, Quake IV.

With it becoming harder and harder to find a new copy of the game, we’re happy to announce we’re re-releasing it at a low price of $19.99.

The Console Monster review awarded the game with 66% back in 2005.

Quake IV will launch in the US on Tuesday 19th June, with a European release expected shortly after.
