Nintendo have confirmed that despite both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 receiving recent price cuts, the Wii will not be following suit.

Senior vice president of marketing for Nintendo of America, George Harrison, told Reuters that the price will “stay at $249 for the foreseeable future”. This move (or lack of) is down to Wii sales staying strong, and Nintendo confidence at entering the holiday season at there current price point.

Do you think the Wii needs a price cut, or are you happy with it’s current price tag?
