Despite Maddens unrivalled success in the American Football gaming market two new competitors have sprouted up from nowhere. The first as we all know is 2K Sports All-Pro Football 2K8. The latest American Football game comes from Tecmo and Visual Concepts.
Tecmo did in fact make one of the first licensed NFL games with ‘Tecmo Bowl’. This time around they will of course have no such licenses, but they have said they wish to prove to us all that American Football games can be fun.
Mr. Inagma of Tecmo did say something about the new game and it was intriguing to say the least; “I can’t tell you what platform we’re making it for. But I can tell you that it’s probably not going to be on the platform that you’re expecting … if that makes any sense. This is going to be a brand new game for one of the new systems.”
The only thing Tecmo have released is the games logo, we don’t actually know if it will hit the 360 but it will be interesting to see what Tecmo come up with all the same.
