How Desperate Are “Wii”?

According to the newspaper The Daily Mirror, English people are travelling to France to purchase the Nintendo Wii in time for Christmas. The newspaper also reports that Wii consoles are going for up to a thousand pounds on internet auctioning site eBay.

A Micromania spokesman has told the Daily Mirror that the “English interest is phenomenal” and that queues are forming each day outside stores in Calais, where French shops have already limited customers to one Wii per customer.
