Head Coach 09 coming this year

EA Sports has announced that they will be releasing their Head Coach game-franchise again this year for the PS3 and Xbox 360 titled NFL Head Coach 09. Instead of ‘the chin’ of Bill Cowher, the light-hearted and mild mannered coach of the Indianapolis Colts, Tony Dungy, will be on the front cover this go round.

“In NFL Head Coach 09, the gamer has complete control of their franchise’s destiny,” says NFL Head Coach 09 Executive Producer Jeremy Strauser. “From draft day to game day, the gamers’ decisions impact their team’s success and make or break a team’s road to the Super Bowl.”

NFL Head Coach 09 will try to emulate the life of a Pro American Football Head Coach. The player will watch game-tape of opposing teams, call plays, and build play-books. It is a strategy based sports game if you will, without the player controlling the action of the players themselves.

NFLHead Coach 07 did not fair well in the U.S. when it was first released and I don’t expect it to get better. Having said that, I doubt it will get any kind of love in the UK. What do you guys think? Will it be a strategic thinking game or another uneventful American Football game?

Jeremy is really a little kid who took over a 6'3 adult body. He likes the X-men, Spiderman, Batman, Superman, The Incredibles, Finding Nemo, Stewie..you get the picture. He reviews games and writes news for Console Monster. The games he most likes to play are games like Lost Odyssey and Final Fantasy, especially FFVII. He wants to marry Aeris, but would settle if Seth came along and was more aggressive towards him. He loves the NFL (yes American Football), and his teams are the Dallas Cowboys and the Green Bay Packers. His video game writer/blogger/gamername alias (cause he thinks it's cool) is Adridius.
