Exclusive download content for the Xbox 360 version of Guitar Hero: World Tour will be released alongside the games launch which is rumoured to be 7th November.
REM, Boston, Foreigner, Rick Springfield and Blind Melon will all have songs featured for download along with two original GH Duel tracks. The songs will be avaliable exclusively for a fortnight and then will launch on the PSN Network.
The REM Track Pack contains three songs from there new album Accelerate and these are ‘Horse To Water, ‘Man-Sized Wreath’ and ‘Supernatural Superserious’. The three can be purchased as single tracks too.
The Classic Rock Track pack contains ‘Rock and Roll Band’ from Boston, ‘Hot Blooded’ from Foreigner and ‘Jessies Girl’ by Rick Springfield. The song ‘No Rain’ from Blind Melon will be sold on its own.
Finally the two Guitar Hero duel songs are original compositions by Ted Nugent and Zakk Wlyde and will be avaliable as a free download and will presumably feature in the game as a duel as well.
Activision has not confirmed a release date, but retailers nationwide are stating 7th November; so they obviously know something we don’t know! We’ll keep you updated on a release and of course bring you a full review then.
