Last November, Lucid Games and Sierra launched a new kind of Geometry Wars experience with Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions, which introduced dynamic 3D arenas, challenging new game modes, new boss battles, and more. Over the last few months, we’ve loved watching fans streaming their sessions online, competing for top slots on the leaderboard, and playing alongside us online.
But as they say, you can never have too much of a good thing, which is why today I’m excited to announce Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Evolved—an update to the core game that adds over 40 new stages, Hardcore mode, improvements to Adventure Mode, an expanded Classic Mode, and more. Best of all, anyone that already owns the game will get it all for free.
Launching on March 31, Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Evolved adds 40 new levels to Adventure Mode, including new 3D grids, boss battles, a new Sweeper drone, and Detonator super ability. There’ll also be changes to the level progression system, making it easier for players to progress and unlock new modes. For the truly skilled, there’s the new 20 stage Hardcore mode that eliminates drones and supers and features its own dedicated leaderboards.
