Still not an Xbox 360 owner? Why the heck not? If this doesn’t entice, then surely nothing will…well, maybe not until the inevitable Halo 3 Bundle. Microsoft have announced that this Friday will see the release of a Gears of War Xbox 360 Bundle. The bundle includes the Premium Xbox 360 and a copy of Gears of War for just £299.99. That’s a saving of around £30 against the RRP.
Staying with Gears announcements, Microsoft today announced that Gears is “the fastest-selling original Xbox game of all time (non-sequel)” selling 1 million copies worldwide in just two weeks. In those two weeks, there have been over 10 million and over 7 million achievements have been earned. This number is sure to increase with Australia and New Zealand joining in the fun later this week.
Update: Microsoft have also announced two more bundles which will also launch this Friday including WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2007 and Call of Duty 3 respectively. Both will also come with an Xbox 360 premium and a copy of the game for £299.99
