SEGA and Sports Interactive have today announced that Football Manager 2007 for Xbox 360 is officially gold and will be released on December 1st. SI also announced a couple of new features for the 360 version of the game.
First up is Xbox Live Vision support. Presumably, the camera will be used to put your face in the game on your management profile screen. FM 2007 joins Rainbow Six Vegas, also out on December 1st, as the first retail Xbox 360 games to support the camera.
Another Xbox 360 exclusive feature is the Xbox Live Fantasy Draft. Eight players compete in a round-robin picking players from the huge database to create their very own fantasy team. All eight players then compete in a selected league or cup competition to see who created the best squad.
Miles Jacobson of Sports Interactive said:
“We’re really happy with both of our forthcoming console releases. Having listened to lots of feedback from the community, particularly regarding the control system on the Xbox 360, we are confident of providing the best console and handheld management experiences to date. With loads of new features on each game and great improvements throughout, we want to prove to people that we are not just a PC developer anymore and can entertain on all platforms.”
