FIFA 10 will be getting a patch shortly to fix a large number of problems that have cropped up, since the mega-hit football game hit the shelves the other week.
EA Sports were speaking to Eurogamer, and said:
“We have already created one patch based on gameplay feedback after the demo went live, and we are now creating another one that will go out this week, in order to give our gamers the best possible experience,” said the spokesman.
Our forum users have had issues with Game Face, Live Seasons, Club Mode and various disconnection problems when playing online modes.
Phatmuther said:
“Why EA cant manage this is beyond me, a multi billion dollar company not being able to have stable servers for one of their biggest games is a joke. If you are going to implement a brand new popular feature make sure it works before you release it.”
Other users complained about the long down-time of the EA Game Face service as well.
EA confirmed that most disconnections are happening on the PS3 and this issue will be fixed with the new patch. A short term fix is reducing the amount of people on your friends list.
Another bizarre issue, is the AI in Manager Mode where it has being reported it is selling players without you confirming. Not good. Anyway, it’ll all be fixed *hopefully* in the patch which is due very soon. We’ll keep you posted.
Meanwhile tell us your problems below.
