EURO 2012 to be released as an expansion pack

UEFA Euro 2012 will be released as an expansion pack for FIFA 12, rather than a boxed retail title.

Electronic Arts, who are to release the only officially licensed videogame of the 2012 European Football Championship, announced the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 add-on will be priced at £15.99 and 1,800 Microsoft Points respectively.

The expansion pack boasts all 53 UEFA member national teams, all eight official stadiums and a live service that will drive real-life storylines into the game.

UEFA Euro 2012 will be available from the 24th April.
