Elder Scrolls Online dated, monthly subscription fee dropped

The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited will arrive on next-generation consoles in June, the game’s publisher has announced.

Bethesda revealed that the Tamriel Unlimited edition will feature all the major updates that the game has seen on PC over the last year, plus many important changes that will be rolling out in the coming months.

One of those changes is the removal of a monthly subscription, which is no longer required to play the game. Gamers will be able to go online using their existing Xbox Live Gold or PlayStation Plus accounts.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited will be available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One from Tuesday, June 9th, 2015. You can read the Console Monster preview of the title here.
