EA to use Unreal Engine 3 in upcoming next gen games

Unreal Engine, the power behind the much anticipated Gears of War, is to be used by EA to enhance their plans for next gen games. Epic, the developers behind the engine, have made a deal with EA, giving EA the chance to use the Unreal Engine, along with their own tools, to help up coming projects.

The Unreal Engine is already being used on games such as Silicon Knight’s Too Human, Bioware’s Mass Effect and Epic’s Gears of War and Unreal Tournament 2007.

Look out for more news on games using the Unreal Engine on 360 Monster soon.
