Brawl sells half a million

Nintendo’s highly anticipated all star fighter, Super Smash Bros. Brawl was recently released in Japan, and early rumours (via Famitsu) suggest that the game has sold an impressive 500k in it’s first day on sale alone. These impressive numbers account for 80% of the launch shipment, no doubt implying that any gamers wanting to pick the game up now may face problems. Sold Out signs may become a common sight this week for potential brawl buyers.

The game has not yet recieved a release date for Europe, although a June date has been hinted at. Watch this space.
