Blue Dragon Gets Off To A Blistering Start

You have more chance selling your left lung in Japan than an Xbox 360 at the minute, Microsofts next-gen console simply will not move, but the 360’s fortunes maybe about to change.

The latest game to hit Japan on the 360 is Blue Dragon. Famed game producer Hironobu Sakaguchi of Mistwalker game studio and developer Artoon present the highly anticipated Xbox 360-exclusive Blue Dragon. Featuring the character design of Akira Toriyama, who designed Dragon Ball Z, and music by Nobuo Uematsu, the composer for Final Fantasy.

Blue Dragon is an epic role-playing game (RPG) centered on a young boy named Shu and several of his friends. These unlikely heroes possess miraculous strength and magical power to control phantom shadows that mirror the actions of their masters.

What’s more it has been welcomed by the gaming media with open arms and has already racked quite a few high scores including a 9, 9, 9 and 10 from Famitsu magazine. Since Famitsu revealed their scores for the game the Japanese Blue Dragon bundle has sold out all across the country and it looks like the 360’s prospects in Japan could improve come December the 7th when the game is finally released.

Keep an eye out for our review of the game as soon as we get our grubby little mits on it as this does look to be a pretty stunning game.
