DICE has confirmed that their upcoming DLC map pack – Back to Karkand – will be arriving on the PS3 first on December 6th, a day earlier than we previously reported from the PSN leak, however if you take timezones into account we were probably right. 🙂
Seeing as the PS3 will get this update a week before the other platforms, we can only suggest that the remaining platforms will get their fix of the four rebooted Maps the following week – so December 13th.
The Back to Karkland DLC map pack offers four classic Battlefield maps – Strike at Karkand, Wake Island, Gulf of Oman and Sharqi Peninsula. Five new dog tags, five fresh achievements/trophies, three new vehicles (desert patrol vehicle, BTR-90 armoured personnel carrier, F-35B STOVL jet fighter) and ten iconic Battlefield weapons will also be coming along for the ride.
