Bethesda details post-launch plans for Fallout 4

Bethesda has announced its post-launch plans for Fallout 4.

Posting in a blog on their website, the studio revealed that the post-apocalyptic title would be receiving downloadable content in early 2016.

The post read: “We’ve always done a lot of DLC for our games. We love making them and you always ask us for more. To reward our most loyal fans, this time we’ll be offering a Season Pass that will get you all of the Fallout 4 DLC we ever do for just $30 (approximately £20).

“Since we’re still hard at work on the game, we don’t know what the actual DLC will be yet, but it will start coming early next year. Based on what we did for Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Skyrim, we know that it will be worth at least $40 (£25), and if we do more, you’ll get it all with the Season Pass.”

Bethesda also promised “regular free updates to the game”, as well as a Creation Kit that allows players to create and share their own mods.

The Creation Kit is set for release in 2016, coming to Xbox One first, then PlayStation 4.

Fallout 4 launches for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on Tuesday, November 10th, 2015.
