Introducing the second of three protagonists – Trevor
It’s Monday again, which means we kick off our daily countdown to the most anticipated game of the year, Grand Theft Auto V. Today we look at the second of our three protagonists, Trevor. So who is Trevor and what is his background?
Name: Trevor Phillips
Date of Birth: Unknown, although he appears to be in his 40’s – Definitely had a rough paper round.
Background: Trevor has a very checkered past, and at some point he enlisted with the military as an aviator pilot. After the war was over the war veteran met Michael (we’ve met him already in a previous article). After no doubt plenty of discussions over a bottle of beer, or three, both men realised that they had a knack for robbery, so Trevor decides to join Michael in several heist jobs.
The two have had many a fall out in the past and one of the major rifts that have occurred is rumoured to be about Michael’s deal he cut with the F.I.B. Now Trevor lives in a shed-like home in Blaine County, has no money and the only option that seems open to him is to get back into the criminal game again. Trevor will almost certainly be an interesting character to play due to his personality.
Trevor is described as an extremely difficult person to deal with. He is a known drug addict and words like psychotic, unpredictable, untamed, impetuous and infamous all describe his personality perfectly. He’s also prone to outbursts in violence and destructive rampages, and has, during a period of rage, been known for smashing people’s heads on bar counters without a care for the consequences.
Special Ability: Due to his past, Trevor is extremely skilled in combat and aviation, especially with helicopters, however his special ability is unsurprisingly to do with his rage. Trevor can go into a violent rage and therefore take less damage and inflict more damage to others. This ability will be extremely helpful when the SWAT team are on your tail!
