Chris Taylor

Content Monster
Chris is a Northern lad with a passion for video games. With his opinions on video games and his need to force these onto other people, Chris began writing for Console Monster in 2006. Chris is a bona fide nerd who enjoys any decent game that can keep his interest. Being a keen music fan, in his spare time (what little he has) he likes to go to gigs and spends most time with some music on.

Achievement Junkie
David (a.k.a. Wriggy) is a student from Darlington (near Middlesbrough and Newcastle). His first console was a PlayStation (One) back in 1995 followed by the Xbox in 2002, the Xbox 360 in 2005 and the Nintendo Wii in 2007. His favourite games are FPS and Racing (especially the Burnout series) but he enjoys other genres as well. When he’s not typing away or gaming, you’ll find him with his vast majority of friends or “shopping”.
Justin Ortiz-Burrow
New Recruit
New Recruit
Introduced to video games when he was only five, Justin has had a passion ever since. With some of his favorites ranging from games like Shenmue and Indigo Prophecy to Half-Life 2 and Manhunt, you could say he has a extremely varied taste in games. Justin also enjoys movies and music. He has a passion for vinyl records, and loves to collect video game memorabilia. Justin's three goals in life are to own a DeLorean, acquire a pet sloth, and to live life as similarly to Howard Hughes as possible.
Lee Matthews
Old Timer
Old Timer
Lee is an avid gamer, photographer, film buff and sports fan. A scaly brat since birth it only seemed right for him to join Her Majesties Armed Forces of which he has been a proud member ever since. Despite a long absence from gaming, during which he spent many a night reminiscing about the glory days on Halo 2, Matty is now back online smashing his way through Black Ops and soon enough Gears of War 3 and Battlefield 3.
Marty Greenwell

Content Monster
Marty has been gaming since the heady years of the ZX-81 and still owns most of the gaming systems purchased since those days, including the Atari 2600, ZX Spectrum, SNES, Jaguar, Dreamcast and GameCube. Being a collection junkie (or more accurately, hoarder), he buys more games than he can possibly play, far too many of which are still sealed in their packaging. Marty favours RPGs and Driving games when it comes to genres, and is possibly a little bit too addicted to Disgaea. When not gaming he’s out frightening OAPs on his motorcycle, clad in black leather.
Mick Fraser

The first game Mick ever played was Dexter’s Laboratory on the ZX81. After waiting 45 minutes for it to load he was hooked in moments and has been gaming ever since. He’s gone through almost every console ever released and even had a brief stint in the early noughties as a PC gamer, until he had to give it up to break his World of Warcraft addiction. Now he splits his life between loving his family, playing and writing about games and trying to sell indie novels.
Reece Warrender
The Apprentice
The Apprentice
Reece is an obsessed gaming fanatic that finds enjoyment from any console. He began to enjoy games from a very young age but the addiction did not consume him till the days of Zelda – Link to the Past. Currently he is himself trying hard to break into the gaming industry, as a young programmer whilst also forcing his opinions onto the gaming population.
Tim Leigh

Content Provider
Having spent most of his life playing video games, Tim can definitely be called an addict...but he likes to think of this as a good thing. His love for Japanese video games in particular led to take a Japanese Studies degree at the University of Sheffield, where he is currently studying. In the future he hopes to use his knowledge of the Japanese language and his passion for video games to become a successful video games journalist.
