The game goes on and on and on. If you happen to have sleep issues, this game may very well be one for you!
Repetitive and dull gameplay that will bore most. Little has been done to spice up the word puzzle concept, or even provide a slightly challenging experience.

Word Puzzle not only brings a creative title (Ed – Sarcasm) to Xbox Live, but a unique spin on the pen and paper pastime… word puzzles! The game has been developed with a unique graphical style, which does a fantastic job of bringing word puzzles into games. However, it is typical that the puzzles do not even fit on the screen and require scrolling, and no, they are rarely even scale to half of the screen size.

The game features several different game modes that typically pit you against the clock to find words in a jumble puzzle of letters. As you progress you will receive more words to find, have a larger board to search or even be presented with a 3D grid of words, instead of the usual flat variety.

Unfortunately, the main issue is not with the games presentation or style, but simply the gameplay. You will spend countless hours repeating extremely similar boards, trying to find words that are typically clear to spot. The developers have done a fantastic job at reproducing one of the most boring, easy and repetitive games yet to grace Xbox Live Arcade, however, this is not a welcome feature that will sell many copies.

Word Puzzle for Xbox Live should be avoided, simply because you will typically find more enjoyment from the pen and paper variety.
