Vibrant and detailed graphics brings this late 80's classic to the forefront of today's graphically rich titles. Gameplay is solid throughout which mirrors the original in bringing a very challenging Arcade release.
Frustrating set pieces can sometimes put you off continuing with the game. Once complete, this game could easily end up gathering virtual dust in your Arcade line-up, although you will no doubt have had your moneys worth from the game.

Since its first release in the late 80’s, the Prince of Persia franchise has visited many platforms over the years, and it is a no brainer as to why Prince of Persia has seen some Xbox LIVE treatment with the latest version, cunningly titled Prince of Persia Classic. The “Classic” means just that, a reincarnation of the original game all in a new fancy graphical suit. The original gameplay is present in all its frustrating glory, as you inch your way through the spiked corridors and false floored pathways. With the spit and polish that this original title has been given it has brought this gem back to life to fit in just nicely with today’s graphically rich full-price titles.
