Tekken 6 Joining Virtua Fighter 5 on Xbox 360?

After it was confirmed a few days ago that Virtua Fighter 5 would no longer be a PS3-exclusive and would be launching on Xbox 360 at the same time, rumours today suggest that Tekken 6 will also be coming to Xbox 360.

According to an "IGN Insider Source" Namco are already hard at work on both the 360 and PS3 versions. It would be the first time that a game in the Tekken series has appeared on a non-Sony home console. We'll let you know when we know anything official.

Well done Microsoft, keep up the great work with the 3rd party developers.
I could find very few reasons to start saving for a PS3 6 months ago, those few reasons are fast becoming non-existent.

As I said in the forum thread, I'm not too interested in Tekken myself but I do hope it appears on the 360 so the console benefits :)

I really hope they'll release it on the 360. So Microsoft can kick Sony in the nuts.

I was a big fan of the earlier versions of each title. The problem however, is that with each new installment, nothing significant changed. There was nothing truly 3D, despite a valiant effort from both Namco and Sega. These versions NEED something new. A gripping story, TRUE next-gen graphics, TRUE 3D environments and movements and most importantly, some TRULY UNIQUE play mechanics.
