The internet has been a little shaken up recently, when an Origin banner for Medal of Honor: Warfighter mentioned access to a Battlefield 4 beta. It was inevitable that another Battlefield would be around the corner, but not this soon, right?

Well, you are right. A press release from EA today has not only confirmed Battlefield 4's existence but also that Medal of Honor Warfighter pre-orders will indeed get access to the Beta for Battlefield 4 - but that will not be until Fall 2013. 

It is a good thing that we have some time to get our teeth into Battlefield 3, as lets be honest, with all the DLC coming out until March next year, there is plenty to keep Battlefield fans occupied and the game still fresh. But that asks a new question - what about all the Bad Company 3 rumours. Surely they cannot release both in the same year? Maybe it isn't happening now? Maybe it will be a next-gen release title?
