It could be one of the most profitable franchises’ of all time and is one of the most addictive games I have ever played so it is no surprise that game developer Rovio have announced a partnership with Activision to bring Angry Birds to the major league with a console launch packaging 3 of its Angry Birds titles.

The retail game (that as yet has no price tag assigned) is due to launch in Q4 of 2012 and will include Angry Birds, Angry Birds Rio and Angry Birds Seasons. While the very awesome latest addition to the franchise, Angry Birds Space is missing from the console package, the amount of levels that will be included from these 3 games will be phenomenal. If we then couple that with the rumour of Kinect and Move motion sensor compatibility this could be a whole lot of fun for those who haven’t yet progressed into the Smartphone era and experienced this addictive little puzzler before.
