If you applied for the Elder Scrolls: Skyrim – Dawnguard beta, it’s worth checking your e-mails today as the invites have been sent out.
Bethesda Game Studios said on Twitter: “Check your inbox to see if you made it into our Dawnguard beta!”
Despite applications for the beta opening last week, a large number of applicants were received. In a following tweet, the developer said: “With an overwhelming # of applicants, half of one percent received invites. We look forward to feedback in our private forum.”
Dawnguard is the first downloadable content for Skyrim. The add-on focuses on the Dawnguard, an organization dedicated to hunting Vampires and stopping the return of the vampire lord Harkan, who intends to use an Elder Scroll to permanently blot out the sun.
For those who weren’t fortunate enough to get in the beta, Dawnguard will be available to download on the Xbox 360 from the 26th June for 1,600 Microsoft Points.
