I love COD, i play it pretty much anytime i get a chance to play my xbox but i can't say i'm impressed with this. I'll be fair it definetely looks like they are trying to make it different but.........man i do not like the look of it at all. The campaign looks like it's going to be heavily reliant on air support from the trailer, if the multiplayer is going to be like that then COD will be ruined. Don't get me wrong i will still buy the game like the vast majority of us out there, but i don't habe high hopes for it so far. However saying that it could surprise me and actually be good. How awesome would that be! I've fallen into the hype for "the next COD" ever since i played WaW (my first COD game) and have been bitterly dissappointed except for the zombies mode in Black Ops. Would be a nice change to not expect so much from a game and have it turn out to be pretty damn good. Hopefully the zombies mode will make an appearance again but i'm sure with the success it has had (particularly in Black Ops) that there is no doubt it shall be returning. Futuristic zombie warfare, THAT sounds badass!

There's a lot of great things on cod games but there's loads of sh#t things in them too. There good at marketing these games but the fact is that were just a bit board of the game after bout 3 months, I'm not saying make it more like BF3 but more team based. It's really the people that play it that's 1 of many frustrating problems with this game. Think I would rent this b4 buying, I hope I do buy but it has to wow me though, emmmmmm

Surely to make more money they should put the effort into making a good product to start this. The ott marketing they do must cost a fortune. My point earlier was yes they change the setting but the gameplay remains the same feel everytime since cod4 which has had its day like someone says above that lasts about 3 months then bordem sets in. Just dissapointing after the fun had on cod 4.

I think it looks good personally. I think because it's set in the future they will be able to bring fresh new ideas to the table, and it won't just sit and be the same. New weapons, veichles, perks etc. Also they won't build a new engine for a game when it's obvious the consoles are reaching the end of there life span. I'm sure the first cod game on xbox3 or ps4 will be running on a new engine.

I think #14 nailed it I am pretty sure they knew about a new system coming out soon so why spend the money now just to have to build a new one for the new systems. You do know the new Xbox is going to be running 6 different processors like the ps3 did. So I see why they haven't changed it and honestly why would they just look at their sales. Guys zombies has been confirmed by the developer himself. However he did not provide much information about their description. Here's my say, I agree with the majority on this futuristic setting and futuristic guns dissapointment, but hey what about zombies? I bet 80 percent of gamers would 'hop' on zombies as soon as they recieve the game. I'm relly excited about zombies!!!

You say this is a change, but take another look. The graphics have the same edge to them, and the short clips of gameplay look exactly the same as MW/MW2/BO/MW3. You might call me a BF fanboy, but I'm not trying to start an arguement. When we say change we mean change. Look at the difference between BF2 (not bad company) and BF3. That is the difference we want to see. Plus BF2142 has already done future stuff.

Personally I'm not a big cod or bf fan I much prefer gow or Tom Clancy games, however I think they are going in the right step finally, 1st off for the one saying its s terminator rip off watch again the machine haven't gone rogue they have been hijacked by another country much like the fears of hijacking nuclear warheads, 2nd cod has look the same be ause the engine reached its limit, yes bfbc2 and bf3 look completely different but that's because of the lack of power in the first engine they needed an upgrade cod already looks good and if we are talking about a cut and paste game look no further than FIFA that's a joke for a game. 3rd to move away from past or present wars will make it feel fresh yes other games have and are doing future gameplay but cod are doing it subtly and not making a over powered future shooter. 4th stop bitching you would go insane if they went one year without cod, or your always bitching change cod we're bored face the fact that shooter would change that much over the next few years any way.

Dear whoever said that 'they r runnin outta wars 2 base der game off', you're an idiot.
Firstly, it's a game. A fictional game. It could be set during the clash of the titans. Where does it say that call of duty is the Number battle simulator? nowhere. apart fanboys comments. I love call of duty's single player (it's been solid in ALL of them) and I love battlefields multiplayer. But I think that by providing this chane of settings they can add whatever they see fit to make this into a really fun game.
Besides y'all said this about mw3, black ops and the rest. They all sold incredibly well and hey were all dm good games. exactly the same at the battlefield series.
So whoever says that OMG BF3 IZ BETTA THAN COD or vice versa, they're entirely different games in a sense.

You would also then know that this campaign will be like no other. This isn't just a future setting but there will also be side missions and branching story lines. Main characters of the game will live or die in game based on those decisions. The trailer looks great and I can't wait to play it this November. Medal of Honor is going to be crap, just like the last one was. Infact, the new MoH looks like a lazy rip off of Modern Warfare at best. Mate, are you blind? Just because the game is set in the future doesn't mean that it's a massive change. We haven't seen any of those gameplay mechanics in action, but we have seen the graphics. To my eyes anyway, the game engine looks EXACTLY the same as before. The graphics have not changed on bit, and look just as dated as any other COD. Don't just call us blind haters. I have many other issues with COD, some of them with FOV and movement characteristics, which make me actually feel sick. A few other games do that, but not many. It's called basic empathy. Just because you don't have the problem doesn't mean others do not. You have no right to call others stupid haters because they challenge your favourite game. You can't come back to this comment, without sounding stupid, so don't try.

The trailer looked amazing. I'm not really a hard core Call of Duty guy, but I enjoy my multiplayer gaming, and capping Jugernauts and such. I liked the futuristic perspective, I really enjoyed MW3/BlackOps, perfect story line, but I felt the source code was just copied and pasted with graphics and story line changed. The graphics in this one look just a bit more animated to me so the resolution comes out sharper. Really hope they take advantage of the future technology and give us some weapons we've never seen before in any other game. It sure has a lot of potential. I'm defiantly grabbing it when it comes out.
