Only 40% of gamers completed Assassin's Creed II

It's estimated that only 40% of gamers completed the Assassin's Creed II single player, according to Creed: Brotherhood mission director Gaelec Simard. That's a huge figure Simard feels, however when looking at GTA IV's stats a mere 30% of gamers have completed it's single player campaign. It does fall quite a bit short of Gears of War 1 & 2, Call if Duty 4 and Halo 3's single player completion stats as over 60% of gamers have completed their respective single player modes.

That got me thinking, are you a gamer who prefers to play multiplayer and just dip in and out of the campaign modes or are you a die hard single player fan?

Discuss which type of gamer you are in the comments below...

I always try at complete a games campaign mode at least once before I even touch the Multiplayer, I've 1000g and 100% AC2 and as it's my favourite game, I just completed Gears 2 100% with all Achievements.

Like many, I finished the story and will go back to 100% it at a later day.

I always do the campaign first because it shows why bought the game. I just hope that the multiplayer for ac brotherhood wont suck. Im really looking forward to it.

I got all the achievements in ac 2, but only because it was so fun. I have to agree with most others here and say I like to finish a single player campaign first, then multiplayer

I alway complete the campaign first.

I love to do single player first for controls and entertainment off it but I love a single player game that takes a long time to complete, the single player part is one of the best parts though

I love my single player, playin thro fallout new Vegas right now and lovin it. But with games like COD and Battlefield, for me they might as well not have a single player. It's a combination of the multiplayer being so good and addicting, and the fact that almost all shooter campains are short and generic.

The story in COD is usally amazing but to short...... badcompany 2 story was dissapointing but it definatly makes it up in multiplayer

I think shooters can come up with very good stories (cod 4, cod 6, halo) and that's what makes me buy a game, but I usually continue to play it because of the multiplayer

I am looking 4ward more 2 the ac:brotherhood storyline single player than the online modes but it's nice 2 have the both.

i all the Achievements in AC1 and 2, good games but do drag on if you want everything out of them...it gets to the point where you're just praying it will end and you can move on the the next game!

I always compleate single player but I don't do 100% as I have better things in my life than hunting 100's of feathers, pigeons ect

Its all about the campaign mode for me, couldn't put the first two down until they were complete. Same applies to brotherhood, not really that interested in the multiplayer. The beta gameplay suggested it won't offer much anyway, I didn't feel the need to play it again!

I think games that have so much to do in single player u have to dip in and out or u get bored fast
#20 Matt  Console Guide App 22:44 27 Oct 2010 GMT
I complete the campaign first dipping in and out of multiplayer but once finished campaign I just play live

Just like everyone else, finish campaign before mulitiplayer. Some games offer better campaigns, some have better multiplayers, and the best have both. You need to atleast give each one a fair shot.
