The very poorly recorded video above is a quick demo on one of the new unlocks for Assassin's Creed 2 official 'experience' website with teaser trailer.
After a little exploring and some help with a webcam, showing the symbol on the webcam input will cause a hand to appear over the symbol. Get a better view of the hand here. I can only assume it is the hand of Altier from the last AC, we know the setting is different this time so we won't know until more is revealed.
I'm loving all this mystery marketing now, Bioshock 2 is certainly making me think and I can't wait for more symbols to be released for AC2's website. It's keeping up busy while we wait for a full trailer at least.
