Call of Duty 6 is Modern Warfare 2

Everyone was wondering what will happen with the 6th instalment to the Call of Duty franchise. COD has been a WW2 shooter for a long time but after Modern Warfare ending up being well received by gamers and press it was only inevitable that they would keep the franchise fresh with another trip to today land.

Modern Warfare is my favourite Call of Duty to date and Activision has announced that COD6 will be Modern Warfare 2 and will be ready by fall 2009. I am also guessing that Infinity Ward are working on this sequel as they made the first MW but nothing has been announced about the developer as of yet.

Seeing that this is a sequel rather than a brand new entry it could mean we get to see Captain Price's masterful moustache again. Yeah, I think he's still alive. He's Captain Price for god’s sake!
