When you purchase the SingStar alternative, Lips, this Friday you will not be able to use the microphone's with other titles. Other titles include games like Guitar Hero: World Tour and Rock Band.

During a demo of the game, creator Keiichi Yano of Inis told MTV Multiplayer that the wireless, accelerometer-enhanced microphone will only work with 'Lips' at launch.

This is mainly because, unlike the Rock Band and GH:WT mic's, they are wireless and it's not as simple as plugging the mic in.

He then hinted that the onus would be on other titles to provide a patch if they wanted the use of the wireless mic's.
