AITD renamed for PS3

Atari has announced it will be updating Alone in the Dark ready for the PS3 release, due next month.

Due to the changes it will add Inferno as a subtitle. Changes include a 360 degree camera control and quicker more responsive controls. The inventory will be easier to access and new tips and tutorials will feature for things like the Spectral Vision.

New driving controls and an overhaul of the 59th Street level will finish the package nicely. Well we hope.

We gave the Xbox 360 version 65% and Tom said: "AITD is one of the more difficult games to review that I've looked at recently, because it does so much right, but then it also does so much wrong as well. It truly is a hit and miss affair".

That then perhaps won't be enough to save this updated version but we'll have a review in the coming weeks.
