Moranis is not lending his voice to Ghostbusters: The Video Game

The main cast are all lending their voices to the upcoming Ghostbusters game, set for release in September this year. Bill Murray, Dan Ackroyd, Ernie Hudson will all be featured, plus more. However, the news comes that Rick Moranis, who played the hilarious Louis Tully, will not be reprising his role for the game.

Sierra Entertainment have said that Moranis has made enough money over his career spanning films such as "Honey, I Shrunk The Kids" and "Little Shop of Horrors" that he was able to retire and doesn't want to work any more due to personal issues.

This is a huge disappointment to any fans of the films, as Rick Moranis had some of the most brilliant lines and pulled them off fantastically. However, we can't really complain as developers Terminal Reality have managed to get the majority of the main cast on board.

Ghostbusters: The Video Game is released on Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360 on September 26th in Europe and October 21st in the US

yeah, i havent seen him in anything recently so i looked him up on imdb. Rick Moranis retired with all his 'honey i shrunk the kids' money and hasnt made a film for 10 years (except for one voice role). Fair play to him, i bet he's enjoying his money.
this looks to be a good game though, i'll rent it just for the nostalgia
