It seems somebody has let the cat out of the bag. Any screenshots from the upcoming Call of Duty title, World at War, were meant to be kept hidden in a temple in the middle of the African jungle. Ok, we exaggerated a bit there, but no screenshots were meant to be shown before June 23rd. But it seems someone has let them loose for us, the general gaming population, to awe over.
The screenshots, taken from the German OXM among other sources, shows the soliders with katanas, flamethrowers and Prisoners of War. As we already know, the game is to be set during World War 2 in Japan and the screenshots show off some of the swampy areas as well as the dense forest areas. So far, so good, but can it compete with the might that was Call of Duty 4? Time will only tell.
